About a month ago, my friend Heather asked me to design the logo for the vegetables, eggs, and honey she and her husband Dan are starting to sell. I came up with some options for her.
The first branding option was Ollie’s Farm, named after their Bichon, Oliver. This was just a conceptual design, so the text isn’t quite straight, but I love the playfulness of the hand drawn vegetables, eggs, and bees.
The second design (and the one they’ve chosen to go with) started as a joke three years ago when Dan first started selling honey. At the time, I was working with Dan, and joked that he should brand it as “The Best Dan Honey” you’d ever have. This became a running joke, but when Heather asked me to come up with branding concepts, I knew this had to make it. It came out perfectly, and I’m so happy they decided to go with this option.
